Patient Care & Administrative Team

Kelly Ellis

Head of Patient Care

Kelly manages and leads our front of house team, along with two senior team members Catherine and Sophie.

Our Patient Care Advisors welcome patients to the surgery, arrange appointments, answer patient queries and carry out administration tasks. They use Health Navigation, which involves asking patients a few questions to understand the nature of their query using clinically designed protocols. This enables them to offer the most appropriate professional for the patient, which may not necessarily be a GP. It is not a clinical consultation and it does not make a diagnosis or plan treatment, it merely connects the patient with the most appropriate person or service.

Please give the Patient Care Advisors as much information as you can in order to help them help you. They will need to ask for further details or check information in your medical records when you telephone the surgery. They are bound by the same rules of confidentiality as the Doctors and Nurses and everything that you tell them is treated in confidence.

Our Patient Care Advisors team consists of Amy, Debbie, Jo, Kirsty, Laura, Sandra, Vikki, Nikki, Jess, Katie and our apprentice Hannah
