An update on nursing appointments

We are aware that a number of nursing appointments, particularly blood tests, have recently had to be cancelled or rearranged, sometimes at very short notice.

This has largely been due to unexpected staff sickness and family emergencies, which unfortunately means we sometimes have very little notice ourselves.

We sincerely apologise for the disruption and frustration this causes, particularly when patients have already made arrangements or travelled to the practice.

Please be assured that we contact patients as soon as we become aware of any changes and are working hard to minimise disruption.

This includes training additional team members to undertake blood tests and increasing our capacity wherever possible.
