Cancel an appointment

If you are unable to attend your appointment, please let us know as soon as possible so that we can offer it to another patient.

Appointments can be cancelled by calling our main telephone number on 01803 855897 and selecting Option 1, or online through Patient Access or the NHS App.

We fully understand that patients may occasionally miss an appointment accidentally. However, if you know you are unable to attend a booked appointment, we would really appreciate you letting us know as soon as possible. This allows us to offer the appointment slot to another patient who may need it.

Each month, many hours of valuable clinical time are lost through patients who “Did Not Attend” (DNA) their appointments. Cancelling appointments you no longer need helps us make better use of available appointments and reduce waiting times for patients needing to see a clinician.
